The New and Improved
Google has now officially disposed of the Google My Business App for your mobile phones. Now you can find your business profile and information on maps. Why you might ask? They have now combined the information along with the options to change them through their mapping system, which really only makes sense. The knowledge panel that comes up via the map is all the information that was originally entered into the old Google My Business, so why have it in two places?
The New Way on Business Profile
As you can see below, after going to maps and searching your business name, you just click on “Manage Your Business” and then you are on the next page.
Then you have the option of clicking on “Edit Profile” which is under your logo, or skimming through and clicking on one of the tabs below it.
After clicking on ”Edit Profile” you can edit everything you had in your initial “Google My Business” as far as dates closed, times open, phone number, run ads, turn on chat, and much more. So if you need to change or update information on your Google Business Profile, it really is easy to do.
